I know what your thinking, I'm posting something every few minutes it seems. Well as we all know this is the most exciting week in sports. The World Baseball Classic is on!!!
Anyway Baylor just upset Kansas in the Big 12 Tourney. I have decided I am cheering for teams that should not be in the tourney to win unless it is a team that we played. Baylor is not an at-large, so if they run the table they might bump CSU up to an 11 seed. The same goes for a team like Iowa or Georgia. Teams that would not be in otherwise. It's all conjecture but here is what I want in a few high-profile conferences.
Big Ten: Iowa or Ohio State wins
Big 12: Baylor or Kansas State wins
Big East: Syracuse or West Virginia wins
C-USA: anyone but Memphis
A-10: Temple or Dukwesnee
***Let's add Georgia Tech to that list. How about a team that went 2-14 in the ACC, with a loss to UIC, Virginia, Alabama and twice to NC State, in the tournament? No way they are a 12 seed.
